Howard joined Hayfin in 2011 and is a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investing.
Prior to joining Hayfin, he spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director and served as a Co-Head of the European Healthcare Investment Banking team. Howard later assumed responsibility for healthcare investing for the bank’s Principal Strategies desk, and later the European Special Situations group. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he was a corporate finance lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell. Howard graduated cum laude with a JD from Harvard Law School and summa cum laude with a BS in Psychobiology from The University of Southern California.
