David joined Hayfin in 2009 and is a Managing Director and the Group’s General Counsel.
Prior to joining Hayfin, he acted as European General Counsel for Apollo Global Management LLC, a leading global alternative asset manager, from 2007 to 2009. Before joining Apollo, David spent seven years as a lawyer in the international business transactions group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where he advised clients on debt and equity capital markets transactions, bank financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and regulatory matters. He graduated Order of the Coif with a JD from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. David graduated cum laude from Mary Washington College with a BA in Economics and International Affairs.
